Some of the best and most interesting areas to shoot in Minneapolis are along these clandestine trails. Blending prairie-side ambience with rustic tones and Midwestern foliage, these engagement spots will definitely give your photos an elegant rustic vibe with a touch of vintage flair.
CEDAR LAKE BEACH & TRAILS
Flowers are in bloom in these urban get-aways, well-manicured escapes from city life that are expertly curated and sure to lend some floral romance and a hint of the rustic to your engagement shoot.
LYNDALE PARK GARDENS
COMO PARK LAKE
WALKER SCULPTURE GARDEN
Featuring parks that were inspired by those found in Scandinavia, Minneapolis has a diverse set of offerings when it comes to the deep woods, tangled foliage, and trees reaching for the sky. The forest is one of my favorite places to shoot because of the mystery and depth it's nature carries.
ELOISE BUTLER WILDFLOWER GARDEN
THEODORE WIRTH PARK
IN THE CITY
An assortment of classic modern engagement hotspots you'll find in the Minneapolis area. Tried and true, these are traditional spots with a romantic city feel, with the lush foliage that Minneapolis has to offer.
STONE ARCH BRIDGE
For those that want a unique engagement session outside of the city, which takes advantage of the natural rustic beauty that Minnesota & Wisconsin have to offer, I encourage you to consider a day trip to the St Croix area for your engagement shoot. Other day trip spots to be added in the future. Please note that there is a fee of $150 for an engagement shoot in these areas.
